Hinganghat Rescue Gaumata -16.11.24

by

The butchers cruelly mocked, saying, “We will fry your revered Gaumata and enjoy eating her!” This heartless taunt was directed at Hindus, mocking their sacred connection with cows. The butchers showed no regard for the sanctity of life, and this statement only highlights their utter disrespect for the animal that holds a special place in Hindu culture.

Meanwhile, in a truly heartbreaking incident, 14 Gaumata were being transported in terrible conditions from Nagpur to Hyderabad, with the intention of meeting a brutal and cruel fate at the hands of the merciless beef mafia. The cattle were being sent to slaughter, where they would face unimaginable torture and death. However, in a heroic act of compassion and courage, the Agniveer Gaurakshaks came to their rescue, saving them from the clutches of the heartless butchers. This intervention was a life-saving effort, as the cows were spared from the horrific fate that awaited them.

Every day, the Agniveer Gauraksha teams work tirelessly to rescue cattle from the clutches of these brutal butchers. The cattle often face unspeakable cruelty at the hands of these merciless people, who treat them with unimaginable cruelty. In many cases, the butchers suspend the cattle upside down, pour boiling water over their bodies, and skin them alive while they are still conscious. These cattle then have their throats slit, all while the butchers chant “Bismillah,” a prayer typically associated with their own beliefs. Afterward, they leave the animals to slowly bleed to death in excruciating pain. The agony the cows endure during this process is incomprehensible, and it is a terrifying reality that our Gauraksha teams strive to prevent.

In regions such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh, each cattle rescue mission is a monumental effort. It involves around 20 to 30 brave Gaurakshaks who work together in large teams. They use 3 to 4 large vehicles to transport the cows to safety, and these operations can last for hours, sometimes taking 5 to 6 hours to complete. The cost of each rescue mission ranges from ₹8,000 to ₹15,000, which goes toward expenses like fuel, transportation, and any medical care needed for the rescued animals. These efforts, however, come at a great personal cost. The Gaurakshaks often face threats to their own lives as they confront these butchers and attempt to stop these heinous acts of cruelty. Despite the danger, the Gaurakshaks bravely continue to fight for the safety and protection of Gauvansh, knowing that their work is crucial in saving the lives of these innocent animals.

The work of Agniveer Gauraksha is not an easy one, and the team faces immense challenges in their fight to protect cows. They are up against well-organized and powerful networks involved in the illegal cattle trade. Despite these odds, the team continues to show unwavering dedication and courage. However, their efforts cannot continue without support. The cost of running these rescue missions and providing ongoing care to the rescued cattle requires substantial resources. To ensure that this vital work continues, Agniveer Gauraksha needs the support of individuals who believe in the cause of cow protection and animal welfare.

The Gaurakshaks have always put the lives of Gauvansh above their own safety, working selflessly to bring an end to the cruelty that cows face at the hands of the beef mafia. But to keep these efforts going, they need your help. Whether it’s through donations, raising awareness, or volunteering, every bit of support matters. Together, we can ensure that the lives of countless cows are saved from the brutality of slaughter, and we can continue to honor the sacred bond that Hindus have with their beloved Gaumata.
